1-5/8" Nibco Tube Straps BOX OF 41 Copper 624

About this item

Copper tube straps in 1-5/8" hold pipe tight to studs, joists and walls, and this box of 41 NIBCO 624 straps is listed as new. Copper straps on copper tube keep dissimilar metals apart, which helps prevent galvanic corrosion where the pipe is supported.

What pipe size do 1-5/8" tube straps fit?

Depending on the maker, a strap size can refer to nominal pipe size or to the tube's outside diameter. The title only gives 1-5/8", so check the listing or the box label against your tube before you order.

• Install: use fasteners that suit the surface: wood screws for framing, anchors for masonry.
• Spacing: your plumbing code sets the maximum support spacing for each tube size.
• Expansion: on hot water lines, don't crush the tube. Leave it a little room to move.
• Count: 41 straps covers a long horizontal run or several risers.
