About this item
A Victaulic 3 inch copper grooved tee lets you branch a 3" copper line without a torch. This Type 620 straight tee has grooved ends sized for copper tube size (CTS) pipe at 3.125" OD, so all three outlets are the same size. The listing is new, open box, one piece, at $183.17 from an independent eBay seller.
Will a Victaulic 3 inch copper grooved tee fit my pipe?
It is made for 3" CTS copper with a 3.125" outside diameter. Grooved copper fittings need couplings and roll grooves made for copper, not steel pipe, so confirm your system before ordering.
- Joining method: grooved ends joined with mechanical couplings. The listing doesn't say couplings are included.
- Common uses: hydronic heating, chilled water and large domestic water mains.
- Open box: check the seller's photos for groove condition and packaging.
- Large commercial jobs may need permits and inspection, so check local code.
