(21 PACK) ELKHART (EPC) CAP 3/4" CTS Sweat End Copper Tubing Fitting

About this item

This pack holds twenty-one 3/4 inch copper sweat caps from Elkhart (EPC), made for CTS tubing. It suits anyone who caps a lot of lines, from remodelers and service techs to DIYers working on a basement or bathroom. Listed as new, open box.

What does CTS mean on a 3/4" copper sweat cap?

CTS stands for copper tube size. The cap slips over 3/4" nominal copper tube, not iron pipe. Because it is a sweat end, you solder it on like any other cup fitting.

• Uses: Ending stub-outs, sealing abandoned branches and capping lines for pressure tests.
• Solder tip: Clean the inside of the cap well, then flux and heat evenly around the cup.
• Per-piece cost: About $1.42 each at the listed price.
• Count: 21 caps per pack.
