7 Brass 1/2" Copper Sweat x 1/2" FIP Female Drop Ear 90 Elbow Nibco

About this item

Plumbers use a 1/2" sweat x FIP drop ear elbow during rough-in to anchor a shower arm, tub spout or outdoor faucet outlet to a wood brace in the wall. This open box lot has 7 NIBCO brass 90° drop ear elbows. Each has a 1/2" copper sweat end and a 1/2" female iron pipe (FIP) thread.

How do you mount a 1/2" drop ear 90 elbow?

Solder the copper side, screw the ears to a solid wood brace, then thread your pipe nipple or shower arm into the FIP outlet with tape or pipe dope. If you use specific screws, check the listing photos for the ear hole size.
