Copper Press Bushing Reducer Coupling FTG x Press 1 x 3/4 Inch 4 PCS Pack

About this item

A 1 x 3/4 copper press bushing reduces the line size right at the fitting, which saves the space a full reducer coupling would take. These four bushings are FTG x press. The larger end is sized like copper tube and slips into a 1" press fitting, and the 3/4" end accepts 3/4" tube.

What does FTG x press mean on a reducer bushing?

FTG means the end has the outside diameter of copper tube, so it inserts into another fitting instead of receiving tube. The 1" end goes into a 1" press tee, elbow or coupling, and both joints get pressed.

• Handy for reducing at a tee branch in tight mechanical rooms.
• Confirm that the press profile in the listing matches your fittings and jaws.
• Seat both ends fully and check the depth marks before pressing.
• Follow local code for potable or hydronic use.
