5 PCS 3/4 Inch Copper Press x 3/4 Inch Male NPT Adapter Fitting Plumbing

About this item

When a copper line has to meet a threaded valve, tank or pump, a 3/4 inch copper press x male NPT adapter makes the connection without soldering. This pack holds five new adapters, each with a 3/4" press end and a 3/4" male NPT end, at $49.73 from an independent eBay seller.

Should you thread or press a 3/4 inch copper press x male NPT adapter first?

Thread the male end in and tighten it first, then insert the tube and press. Turning the adapter after pressing can strain the press joint.

• Seal the threads with tape or pipe dope rated for the service.
• The title lists no brand. Check the photos for markings and for the press profile your jaws need.
• Common spots: water heater connections, boiler piping, hose bibbs and ball valves.
• On permitted work, press joints may need inspection under local code.
