About this item
A PVC pipe reamer kit saves a fitting when a glued joint goes wrong: you drill out the old pipe stub instead of cutting out the whole fitting. This Uimoso socket saver set has 5 pieces and is listed for Schedule 40 and ABS pipe at $52.99.
How does a PVC pipe reamer kit save a fitting?
The reamer runs in a drill and removes the old pipe and cement from inside the fitting hub so new pipe can be glued back in. Go slowly and keep the drill straight.
- Five pieces. Check the listing for the pipe size each reamer fits.
- Made for Sch 40 and ABS fittings, according to the title.
- Helpful on drain and vent repairs where the fitting is buried in a slab or wall.
- Clean and dry-fit before re-gluing with the correct primer and cement.
