(12Pack Set)1/2" Copper Press Fittings Zero Lead,6 Pcs 1/2 Inch Press Coupling

About this item

A zero lead 1/2 in. press coupling kit like this one speeds up swapping a leaking section under a sink or in a finished ceiling. It includes twelve copper fittings, six of which are 1/2 in. press couplings, so you can join or repair several straight runs without a torch.

Can a 1/2 in. press coupling replace a soldered joint?

Often, yes, as long as the tube is round, clean and undamaged and local code accepts press fittings for your application. The tool presses the fitting onto the copper with no heat or solder.

• Mixed contents: the title doesn't name the remaining six fittings, so check the photos.
• Material: copper, listed as zero lead.
• Tooling: make sure your press jaws match these fittings.
• Repairs: cut out the damaged section and mark the depth on both ends.
