Plumbing 1/2" C X C Copper 45 Degree Elbow,LF Short Turn Pressure Copper

About this item

Routing around joists and other pipes calls for a 1/2 inch copper 45 degree elbow. This one is a C x C short-turn pressure fitting listed as lead free (LF). Both ends are sweat sockets for 1/2 inch copper tube.

What does short turn mean on a copper 45 elbow?

It means a compact bend with a tight radius, so the fitting takes up little space. Two 45s with a short piece of pipe between them make a clean offset.

• Pressure fitting: made for supply lines, not drainage.
• Sweat joint: clean, flux, heat evenly and feed in lead-free solder.
• Quantity: one elbow, so order extras for offsets.
• Code: confirm local code and permit needs for water line work.
